Welcome to the Website of the Seven Dutchmen Orchestra

TERRY SALGE

Very sadly, trumpet player Terry Salge, passed away rather suddenly on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the age of 56.  Terry is shown standing 2nd from the left in the above picture that was taken at Wurstfest several years ago.  Terry began performing with the Seven Dutchmen Orchestra during the summer of 1979, just after he had graduated from Canyon High School, here in New Braunfels.  Over the past 38 years, it is estimated that Terry performed with the band over 900 times.  He was a fine musician and an even better person.  He will be greatly missed.
